This just in! Leyton can roll over! No more Tummy Time for her. She has been working at it for several weeks now, but yesterday she made it official - two days before she turns 4 months old. She can roll both to the right and left. Occasionally she will pause on her side for dramatic effect... wait for it... wait for it... Ta Da!! She already knows how to work her audience. What a crowd pleaser.
She also gave her parents the first of many heart attacks. We took her for a walk in her stroller for her third nap (because she hates taking that one she'll fights it real hard). She was sleeping soundly, and Ms. Wendy was admiring her when she noticed blood on her ear. We looked and it was COVERED in dried blood and the inner portion was pooled up with blood. She was sleeping, so of course we first made sure she wasn't dead. She wasn't... so then we took her to see BB, who is also conveniently a nurse practitioner. BB cleaned her up and we discovered that she had just scratched her ear. So she is fine, but we were scared out of our minds for a bit.

It sounds just like Leyton's little personality to "pause for dramatic effect". I'm not surprised she waited for her Daddy to be home before "showing off". What a sweet Girl!!
