Fall in Love with the Campoamor's

Leyton and her Priness' are inseparable
It has FINALLY cooled off a bit here in SoCal, just in time for fall.  We've been enjoying all of our time with the visiting grandparents and we are finally getting used to having a baby in the house.

Leyton's hair is growing in nicely- and getting rather curly and cute!

It looks like Ellis is likely going to have these pretty blue eyes too

It wouldn't be fall without pumpkins!  So, we headed to a nearby pumpkin patch.

This little pumpkin is one month old!

And growing at an alarming rate!  3 month clothes fit her well!

Sweet Baby Ellis

Chipmunk for Halloween?

Such a good sport

Super Incredible Big Sister's turn

Showing off her busted lip... she fell climbing off a chair and bit it

A picture where no one is crying?! (though Ellis is about to)

This pumpkin patch had it all... scarecrows...

goats...

pigs...

and of course sweet little pumpkins!

We loved this little pumpkin so much we brought her home

Happy Halloween!

Happy 2nd Birthday Leyton!

2010
Happy Birthday to our little princess!  It has been the best, most challenging two years of our life.  Leyton grows more beautiful, sweet, sassy and smart every day.  We love you!

2012

This year Grampa and Gramma (Ga) helped us celebrate Leyton's big day

Our little Hello Kitty

Yummy cupcakes

And plenty of Hello Kitty Halloween decorations

We even had a celebrity guest!  Welcome Slash!

Welcome to the Jungle, Ellis!

Curious Susannah

A parrot and his little monster

So fun to have a birthday so close to Halloween

It will be even more fun from age 16 to about 25.... you're welcome Leyton!

She applauded everyone's singing

She was confused as to why I was bringing a fire close to her.... she knows touching fire is a no-no

She dug right in to her cupcake

Birthdays are AWESOME!

Three Weeks as a Family of Four

For being so small, babies sure are a lot of work.  I have hours of blogging I would love to do, but I am limited to typing with one hand while Ellis is nursing.  The pictures are out of order, but it's the best I can do for now.
Ellis hated her first few baths, but seems to hate each one a little less than the one before.

All clean!

Next it was time for Stella's bath

Chillin'

Nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby

My sweet girls!

Leyton loves giving Ellis kisses

We had lots of fun with Poppy and BB

Leyton only smiled as she whacked her sister in the head

We get a lot of this....

But also plenty of this..

She is definitely growing... this is the last of her newborn clothes that fit

Before they stole her away to the NICU. She doesn't look sick!

So nice to be free of all those wires

This is where I slept....

Or in this chair... so good to be home!
Honestly, after that first week in the hospital, having her home was pretty easy.  She wakes up 2 to 4 times a night, but I am used to that now too.  I started back running last week and to Crossfit this week and on days when I can't leave the girls, Ellis sleeps great in the double BOB.  I had both girls all by myself on Wednesday.  It went surprisingly well.  They even napped for two hours AT THE SAME TIME!  So we are getting into the swing of things, slowly but surely.  And Leyton is adjusting.  She is much better behaved now that it's just Ryan and I here... she was pretty terrible for the grandparents.  Probably because she knows she can get away with it.  Big sister will be TWO years old in a few days!  Oh my!  That reminds me, I have a birthday party to plan!  So bye for now!
