Summer is winding down and the kids are back in the school routine. So far, they are doing good and seem to be adjusting to their new classes and teachers. We took a day trip to Paestum a few weekends ago. Paestum is known for their Greek ruins. We took a stroll through the park and then stopped at a beach on the way back home.

| We went to the Naples High School football game and the base made it into a big production. They had rides for the kids and food to eat. We didn't get to see much of the game because we were hopping back and forth on the rides. |

| This was one of the temples in Paestum. They were all built 600 - 450 BC and i think this one was the Greek Goddess Hera.. |

| After Paestum, we drove up to the Salerno area and went to Vietri beach. It had stunning views and the water was still very warm. This beach is famous because you can find old pottery pieces.... we only found one. |
