House hunting is in the books! Today we signed a 6 month lease on a place in Coronado. We really didnt find the "perfect" place, so we settled on a place we both liked, but not loved. The place was recently remodeled and has all new wiring, plumbing, kitchen, appliances, bathroom, etc. And, it is only 4 blocks away from the Coronado Beach. :) We both love the Coronado area, or "the island" as the Coronadians call it, and feel it is the place we need to be. Everything is within walking distance and it is know for how safe it is. You can get anywhere on the island within a 20 minute walk. Also, it will be a 10 min bike ride for me to get to work. We signed a 6 month lease so that we can still find the perfect place. The Coronado is a difficult community to find a home. Not too many advertise or lists their houses on the market. It is a lot of timing, luck and "who you know". Crazy. So we will use these 6 months to try to find the perfect place to call home for the next few years. It was a nice trip and we are excited to move here.
