Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We are having a lovely Christmas in Kentucky.  LOTS of presents, eating, and relaxing.  The weather is much colder than we are accustomed to, so we do miss our SoCal sunshine and playgrounds.  Letyon told us today that she wanted to go home.  It's hard to explain to a 3-year old that she technically has no home.  All-in-all, though, the kids have been great.  They have adjusted well and seem to take each day in stride.

We had a lot of fun with Mimi the Elf this year

Ellis showing off a little trick she learned from Daddy.  Before we left, Ellis had her 15 month check-up.  She was 23 pounds, 12 ounces (83%).  They measured her at 2 ft 6 inches (32%) but she was very uncooperative so I am certain she is taller than that.

These poor kids have to wear two jackets.  We only own one pair of kid mittens, so LC wears them and Ellis' hands turn red.

We've made a couple of visits to Eeyore the Donkey.  The girls like him... from afar.
