Getting settled... again

We have been busy Camper's this past week!  We moved into our new house last Saturday and have spent the week unpacking and getting used to the new digs.  So far we love it!  It's an older house with some 'character' of course (noisy water heater which we thought was a squirrel or ghost, popping cedar ceilings, dangerous light fixtures), but nothing we can't learn to live with.  We are on a new part of the 'island' so we have enjoyed exploring what all this end of Coronado is about.  Sasha LOVES being close to the big park and Mommy loves being closer to the gym (5 more minutes of sleep in the morning!).  One thing we could live without are the fireworks they shoot off after the Padres win a game.  Luckily they suck, so that doesn't happen too often.  Fireworks at 9:45PM are pretty, but a bit loud when there is a sleepy kiddo in the house.
Speaking of kiddos, let's get on with the real reason y'all check this blog: Miss Leyton Campoamor.  A few days ago we visited the doctor for Leyton's 9.5 month check-up.  She weighed in at 17 lbs and 12 oz, which puts her at the 25th percentile and she was 29.5 inches tall (90th percentile), which means she is as tall as most 12 month olds.  That would explain why Mommy had to go buy her 12 month old jammies - the 9 months were cramping the toes.  Apparently 12 month PJs are hard to come by, too.  The only selection at the NEX where pink with ballerina slippers and pink with ballerinas on ponies.  Not that there is anything wrong with ballerinas, but that shouldn't be the ONLY option.  But it was, so that is what she sleeps in now.  So pretty!  Enjoy the pics of the pretty princess - we will post pics of the house once we finally get it presentable.

Here she is packing - so helpful!

Playing her piano.  She has finally figured out how to get down from standing.  For awhile, we could stand her up there and she would stay put because she was stuck standing.  Great trick while it lasted!

Playing peek-a-boo!

waving bye-bye.  She also gives kisses to her books and animals, VERY SWEET!

Showing off the calluses on her little toes.  She refuses to keep socks on, so I guess she'll just have to tough it out.

More on the hand.  And PLENTY of dirt!

We tried to snap a few pics in the park near our house:None of them turned out great.

Ooh well.  We can't expect her to take great pictures ALL the  time!
